This Weekend is a driver's hike. We have also booked the minibus, so will meet at the SU promptly at 7am, to leave at 7:15am. The hike itself is a 20km circular, beginning in Hayfield, hiking up Kinder Downfall past a Blakemere Lake. Nicknamed "The Mermaid pool", the lake is steeped in legend, making it the spot to take a dip for those brave enough! (Make sure to bring some kind of water shoe with you, to avoid slipping eg. crocs, rubber birkenstocks, flipflops). Once dried off, we will continue the circular to the top of Kinder Downfall, before completing the circular back round to Hayfield, where we will then finish at the Pub for food and drink. We will aim to be back in Nottingham to the SU for 6pm.
