Coffee Shop Team Leader

£24,653 (Band E1)

Who the job is for

NTSU is searching for an enthusiastic Coffee Shop Team Leader to join our Food & Beverage Team.

This role will cover the going’s on of our City Campus Coffee Shop, from day-to-day front facing customer service, down to stock ordering and rota planning. This role is customer facing and giving student’s a warm welcome to NTSU and what we offer, leading to an impact on first impressions.

What’s the job

This job is fast paced and customer facing with you offering a great first impression to new and current students. Preparing coffee’s, delivering a varied food offering, adhering to standardised operating procedures and keeping the coffee shop area up to standard.

You will also need to keep things running in the background including, stock ordering, rota management, aiding in stock taking and recruitment and training of student staff.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a flair and passion for all things coffee. Someone with previous experience of leading a team in a similar environment is crucial to this role. We are looking for someone who has previous experience with managing a small team, use of stock ordering and rota management systems and a good understanding of health, safety and hygiene in an operational environment. Those with a positive attitude and a love for coffee will fit right in with our team.
